This video is about Andy Goldsworthy, an environmentalist and "land artist". We have been looking at work by different land artists in preparation for a very special piece of Land Art that we are going to create as a group in a corner of the parking lot at Girl Power.

We will also be working with a technique called "frottage" in which work is created by rubbing against a texture - this could be the texture of a tree bark, a rock, or the side of a building. You could even do it with something as small as a coin. Below is a video of artist Charla Puryear whose work is made using this technique.
