la pequeña habana

we looked for things that were influenced by mediterranean design like the stuff in my pictures from spain... we found lots of stuff, but also some surpriess outside of our theme. Mike went nuts with the camera and took almost 300 pics!

The graffiti is extremely cool and unique, and the building structures are like sooooo back in the day.

Brick x Brick

Brick x Brick is Miami Art Museum's after-school program for teens. Taking place at 4 community sites in Miami, artists-in-residence lead participants in projects to raise awareness of their communities’ architecture, design, urban planning, and landscape. By drawing, painting, writing, documenting neighborhoods with photography, digital imaging, video, 3D drafting, and blogging teens learn new skills & envision improved neighborhoods. Thanks to JP Morgan Chase and Western Union for making Brick by Brick possible. Previous funders have been: Heckscher Foundation for Children and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
